The Treasury Analyst is responsible for continually enhancing the functionality of Chrysler's treasury processes while gaining hands-on exposure to sophisticated financial transactions. As part of the Treasury Process and System Integration team within the Treasury organization, the analyst will evaluate, plan, coordinate and implement process and technology improvements within the Treasury organization. Other responsibilities include the following: (1) Manage the set up and configuration of new financial instruments in the Treasury management system as required to meet the changing nature of treasury activity; (2) Provide technical and analytical support for Treasury operations, as well as other internal clients; (3) Support the ongoing automation of data transfer to and from both internal and external systems; (4) Coordinate with IT on continuous process improvement initiatives, both within Treasury and cross-functionally, and provide ongoing support of implemented projects; (5) Work closely with Treasury, Accounting, IT and external contacts to ensure that the affected processes meet the needs of all constituencies.
